My Work and Commissions
watercolour - colour pencil - pet photography
My enthusiasm for art has truly flourished over the last couple of years and I am glad that I have had the right support and encouragement to really pull it off. It is something that I have always had an interest in, whether it be the colour or the composition - I am drawn to it.
Ever since I started my GCSE art course in the early autumn of 2015, I have been pushing boundaries to new extents and using and practising methods I would have never known about. This has then lead me to explore other options in education other than your standard Sixth Form and A-Levels, and has compelled me to join Carmarthen School Of Arts for the next few years.
My own work, now that I am more experienced, is focused on things I really love or of things that are beautiful - mainly those that are found in the natural world - which lead me into portraiture and, finally, to animal portraiture.
I have had many canines in my short life but I have loved each of them the same - they are all a part of the family. My most recent being the final push to getting into this side of commercial art.
Since starting to take commissions, I have grown to love the looks on people's faces when they've seen the final result. It not only instils a huge sense of pride within me, it also makes me feel eternity grateful for my artistic abilities, and how they can effect people emotionally.
For the future, I plan on doing commissions in other forms other than just watercolours - I hope to spread into pencil shaded drawings, colour pencil drawings and acrylic pain on canvas works - to give you a wider range of styles, colours and sizes.
